Remote control guide

Basic usage

Open the app → select your paired mirror.
Use the D-pad or swipe gestures to mirror on-screen focus (implementation-specific).
Home returns to the dashboard; Settings opens admin pages (may require PIN).

⚠️ Warning: Remote control from outside your LAN should go through a VPN or zero-trust tunnel — do not port-forward admin interfaces directly to the public internet.

When to use SSH instead

Use SSH for file edits, pm2 logs, and OS updates. Use the app for day-to-day household control.

Troubleshooting

Weak Wi‑Fi — move AP closer or wire the Pi with Ethernet.
